Additionally, the airline has taken its passengers across the Tasman to Wellington International Airport, which offers connections to 15 destinations throughout New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>For business travellers needing to fly to Singapore \u2013 one of the world\u2019s great business hubs \u2013 international flights out of Canberra are a definite time saver. While the global city of Sydney does not have a true overnight business flight to Singapore, flying down to Canberra Airport at the end of the business day will see business travellers fly overnight to Singapore arriving fresh and ready for an 8.30am (local time) meeting.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3215\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3215\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3215 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bowralclassic.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/Canbera-2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3215\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Singapore Airlines operate overnight flights from Canberra to Singapore.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With flights to Changi and Wellington currently operating four times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, Canberra Airport\u2019s soon-to-be second international carrier, Qatar Airways, is due to fly its first service to the National Capital in February 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Qatar has yet to announce its flight schedule to Canberra, but when it does the airline will connect the ACT and surrounding regions directly with Doha\u2019s Hamad International Airport.<\/p>\n<p>Canberra Airport, widely recognised as one of Australia\u2019s most innovative and sustainable airports, sees around 2.8 million passengers pass through its terminal every year and is Australia\u2019s eight busiest.
