The latest gear from Shimano – the world’s premium cycling component manufacturer – will be on display at the Bowral Classic event village over the weekend of the Bowral Classic.<\/p>\n

A valued Supporting Partner of the event, the well-known and unmissable Shimano Australia mobile showroom – a cleverly converted shipping container – will be set up on the Eridge Park oval on Saturday October 20 and Sunday October 21.<\/p>\n

Toby Shingleton of Shimano Australia said the company’s latest\u00a0road, gravel and mountain bike offerings will be on display at the Bowral Classic, along with a number of eBikes available for demonstration rides.<\/p>\n

“We will have the the new 105 disc on hand in Bowral – this will be fresh into the country and certainly something people will be interested in seeing,” Shingleton told us.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ll also have an Ultegra RX disc bike there, along with all three road disc groupsets, plus some new MTB goodies. Basically participants can expect to see everything that is this season’s latest from Shimano.\u00a0We will also have around 10 demo STEPS e-bikes there for people to ride – this will be a broad representation of the brands and manufacturers using the Shimano STEPS system.”<\/p>\n

The View From The Top<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the Shimano container’s top deck accessible to the public, event goers will be able to enjoy an expansive overview of the Bowral Classic’s ever-growing event village and country surrounds.<\/p>\n

“We are really looking forward to it, ” Shingleton continued. “We received\u00a0a lot <\/span>of positive feedback from last year’s event and are very excited to support a major New South Wales cycling event like the Bowral Classic. It’s certainly a good thing to have something like this so close to Sydney and to give riders the opportunity to enjoy roads they may not have ridden before –\u00a0it’s undoubtedly one of the great regions for cycling and sure to be a very successful weekend.”<\/p>\n
