We believe every pedal stroke should count for something bigger, which is why riders can choose to raise funds for a charity of their choice. Or, join us in supporting our official charity partner, the <a href=\"https:\/\/questforlife.org.au\/\"><strong data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1505\">Quest for Life Foundation<\/strong><\/a>, who do incredible work supporting Australians through illness, grief, trauma and mental health challenges.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1815\" data-end=\"1844\">Find Your Ride Crew<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"2109\">Training solo is fine\u00a0 but riding with mates makes the whole experience more fun.\u00a0 Ask around at your local cycling club, gym, or even among friends and coworkers. You\u2019ll be surprised how many people are already riding, or thinking about it. Plus, if you register as a team of 4 or more, you\u2019ll score an <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingclassics.com.au\/bowral\/teams\/\"><strong data-start=\"2177\" data-end=\"2209\">extra 10% off your entry fee<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2248\" data-end=\"2280\">Start Training (Yes, Now)<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2282\" data-end=\"2326\">The Bowral Classic offers three distances:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2509\">\n<li data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2389\">\n<p data-start=\"2329\" data-end=\"2389\"><strong data-start=\"2329\" data-end=\"2346\">85km <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingclassics.com.au\/bowral\/rouleurs-classic\/\">Rouleurs<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 the perfect intro to Gran Fondo events<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2390\" data-end=\"2464\">\n<p data-start=\"2392\" data-end=\"2464\"><strong data-start=\"2392\" data-end=\"2411\">120km <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingclassics.com.au\/bowral\/challenge-classic\/\">Challenge<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 great for intermediate riders building endurance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2465\" data-end=\"2509\">\n<p data-start=\"2467\" data-end=\"2509\"><strong data-start=\"2467\" data-end=\"2481\">150 km <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingclassics.com.au\/bowral\/maxi-classic\/\">Maxi<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 for the full-day warriors<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2511\" data-end=\"2818\">Whichever you choose, give yourself a few months to train. Start by riding 2\u20133 times per week, slowly increasing distance and duration. Consistency matters more than speed when you&#8217;re starting out.
