Forget the hotel and just rock up to the startline! That’s the message from the Clare Classic crew to South Australians ahead of the 2020 Gran Fondo.
All four rides, the Maxi, Challenge, Social and Dirty Clare, are designed to help you experience the ride of a lifetime and to have fun. Often the hassle and cost of finding a place to stay can take the enjoyment out of such an event.
Fortunately for those hailing from Adelaide and surrounds you can still make the most of the 2020 Clare Classic! With a later start time of 7.30AM (Maxi riders) there’s plenty of time to jump in the car, kit up and even grab a coffee before taking on the Clare Classic. Dirty Clare, an 80km gravel ride on the Saturday, will commence at 7AM.
With a packed out Event Village awaiting your return, there will be a wide range of food and drink available for you to recharge as well as socialise with fellow riders before heading home.
Later start times are just one of many things the Clare Classic will feature in 2020 as we aim to make this the Gran Fondo for all South Australians.
