There\u2019s also the small undertaking of the UCI Tour Down Under every January.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here\u2019s three reasons why you should visit Clare on two wheels in your lifetime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vast, open spaces<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you\u2019re a fan of chasing that endless horizon than the Clare Classic is the Gran Fondo for you. The Clare Valley is home to many stunning, open landscapes that will make you think you\u2019ve somehow stumbled across a European tour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5138 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clareclassic.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/DSC4835-300x193.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"367\" height=\"236\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Riesling Trail<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While we all take our cycling pretty seriously the Riesling Trail is a chance to kick back and relax. Covering about 30km, the Riesling Trail is a self-guided tour of what makes Clare Valley so great, wine!! There\u2019s great cellar doors like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mrmick.com.au\/\">Mr Micks<\/a> as well as award-winning names such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.taylorswines.com.au\/\">Taylors<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pikeswines.com.au\/\">Pikes<\/a>, all calling out to your taste buds!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3784\" src=\"https:\/\/www.clareclassic.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/riesling-trail-3_400_400_c1-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dirty Clare<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ok so we all love road cycling, that\u2019s the reason we do Gran Fondos but have you tried gravel before?
