Although a lot of options have already been booked various options are still available &#8211; our tip is to phone the Mudgee Visitor Centre direct on <a href=\"tel:(02)%206372%201020\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<strong> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0(02) 6372 1020 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 .\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6411\" src=\"https:\/\/mudgeeclassic.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Mudgee-Social-GIF-Template-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>Accommodation is available in surrounding towns including &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rhylstone \u2013 35mins<\/li>\n<li>Gulgong \u2013 25mins<\/li>\n<li>Kandos \u2013 40mins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Get To Mudgee<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once you have accomodation sorted the next step is to start planning the trip and looking at the best ways to get to Mudgee in May.<\/p>\n<p>Many will be coming from Sydney, some 268km or a 3.5 to 4 hr drive. There are two options &#8211; Bells Line of Road or the Great Western Highway. The Mudgee turn off is just past Lithgow, then follow the picturesque Castlereagh Highway and look for the Mudgee signs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From Newcastle\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From Newcastle travellers are treated to the stunning Bylong Valley Way &#8211; a memorable drive via Maitland, \u00a0Denman &amp; Sandy Hollow.
