NOOSA CLASSIC POSTPONED TO AUGUST 2021 DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC

It is with enormous regret and incredible sadness we announce the 2020 Noosa Classic has been postponed to 15 August, 2021.

This year’s event is yet another casualty of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.

The event was scheduled for August this year yet the overall time frame of this period of major disruption remains unknown. We feel it is only fair to our loyal community to act decisively, offer as much notice as possible, and postpone the popular event now.

The 2021 Noosa Classic will be held on Sunday 15 August and your registration will automatically transfer to this new date. If you would prefer to receive a refund, please complete the Online Refund Form via THIS LINK by 11:59pm Sunday, 3 May 2020.

Be assured the Noosa Classic is one of the best loved, most popular and highly anticipated Gran Fondos of the year. The event survived a torrential mid-ride downpour in the first year, attracted even more riders in the second year, and organisers pledge to redouble their efforts to make it the nation’s absolute premier winter cycling event of 2021.

Yes COVID-19 has hit us hard this year, but we will be back stronger, bigger and better than ever.

The Noosa Classic team will post relevant updates on the event website and social channels. Again we thank riders, supporters and stakeholders for their ongoing support. Most of all we do appreciate your heartfelt understanding during this unprecedented time.

We do hope you will stick with the Bicycling Australia family and join one of our other events. Use the code ‘NOOSA10’ for a 10% discount on Bicycling Australia’s signature event, the Bowral Classic in October. Rest assured we have a rock-solid COVID-19 100% refund policy for all our events.

Sincerely,

James Yaffa,
Classics Founder
