Want to be crowned March’s King and Queen of the 1 in 20? Want to head to sunny Noosa for the ride of your life? Well listen up – this one’s for you!<\/strong><\/p>\n

To win one of six tickets to the 2019 Noosa Classic, all you have to do is join the Bicycling Australia Strava Club<\/a> and post the best time on the climb<\/a> for the month.<\/p>\n

One woman and one man will be selected from three categories: –\u00a035 to 44,\u00a0<\/strong>45 to 54 & 55 to 64.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Competition opens 1 March and closes Sunday 31 March. Winners will be announced and contact Monday,1\u00a0 April.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the competition, so tag your mates and have fun getting up that mountain!<\/p>\n

The 1 in 20 is one of Victoria’s climbs, stretching 6.7km from The Basin towards the Dandenong Ranges at an average gradient of 4%. It starts off at a reasonable tilt, and then riders are rewarded with an approximately 1km false-flat segment. It finishes similarly to how it starts, with the steady 3-4% climbing punctuated by some steeper bursts.<\/p>\n

As you can see from the numbers, this one is less Mt Baw Baw (where just getting to the top is an achievement) and more geared towards those looking to go hard and fast.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
