MET helmets, a Noosa Classic supporting partner and the maker of some of the world\u2019s best bicycle helmets, have recently released their most impressive aero offering ever.<\/p>\n

The MET Manta MPIS is an aerodynamic cycling helmet for road, triathlon and winter rides. And the MIPS bit – for those not in the know – greatly reduces rotational impact if a rider falls. The \u2018Multi-Directional Impact Protection System\u2019\u00a0is kind of like an internal cradle designed to manage energy from rotational and angular impacts.<\/p>\n

\"\"The helmet is an excellent example of MET\u2019s aesthetic and contemporary design. Led by the insight of pros and the demands of cyclists, the helmet takes on four areas of focus: safety, aerodynamics, fit and style. With these elements in mind, the design of the new Manta Mips draws on the natural geometry of its predecessor as a guide. It\u2019s as brilliant as the original, but with sharper looks and cutting-edge performance.<\/p>\n

It is more aerodynamic that its predecessor thanks to its lower and tube-shaped profile at the rear, which we developed with specific wind-tunnel testing in the NEWTON laboratory of Milan.<\/p>\n
