Bicycling Australia is excited to announce Early Bird registrations for the Clare Classic Gran Fondo cycling event, held on Sunday, 5 April 2020, are now open. The cycling Gran Fondo for South Australia returns to the beautiful Clare Valley after a successful inaugural event in 2018.
A unique event, the Clare Classic provides significant and far reaching economic benefits to South Australia, with visitors soaking up Clare Valley’s world class food, wine and accommodation.
In 2018, forty percent of attendees came from interstate to ride the inaugural Clare Classic, reinforcing the allure and appetite for the region.
The event will again offer riders the choice of three courses, catering for the diverse cycling community. The testing 160km Maxi Classic, the 110km Challenge Classic and the more leisurely 50km Social Classic each give riders an authentic Gran Fondo experience as well as showcase the stunning Clare Valley.
In exciting news, riders are now able to take advantage of the Clare Classic Early Bird offer. Riders who register for the 160km Maxi or 110km Challenge course will receive a FREE premium Cinettica event jersey worth $115, as well as discounted entry. Early Bird offer ends Sunday, 10 November 2019.
