The Noosa Classic is less than 30 days away! With the unfortunate postponement of 2020 and now 2021, October 10 cannot come soon enough.
The team at the Noosa Classic have prepared these 10 awesome reasons to ride on October 10.

Lockdowns across the country providing us an opportunity to unwind, relax and spend more time on the couch. The Noosa Classic is the best reason to get back on the bike. 2. The Wide Open Spaces

3. Support Your Chosen Charity
The Noosa Classic team and riders are passionate about supporting charities. This year, riders have raised a whopping $28,000 for their chosen charities and you still have time to contribute to that incredible number! 4. Curated Courses
With 3 carefully-curated courses, 160km Maxi Classic, 120km Challenge Classic, 65km Rouleurs Classic. Each course captures the stunning Hinterland and are challenging and rewarding.
160km Maxi Classic
Starting in Tewantin, an easy 5km ride from Hastings Street in Noosa, this course will take you far away from the peaceful sound of waves lapping the shore. You’ll ride through ever-changing mountain scapes, into lush valleys and, past historic towns as you push yourself to the Finish Line. Along the way, you’ll tackle the infamous Cootharaba KOM climb and amass almost 2,000m of climbing. You’ll arrive back at the Event Village to enjoy an ice-cold beer and some much-needed lunch!
120km Challenge Classic
This ride lives up to its name with over 1400m of climbing, including the challenging Cootharaba King of the Mountain (KOM) climb. You’ll arrive back in the Event Village exhausted but also thrilled by the achievement of completing one of Australia’s most rewarding rides.
Rouleurs Classic
Brand-new for 2021, the Rouleurs Classic offers the hinterland experience of a beautiful ride that is not without the challenge of a climb, with the Rouleurs taking on the famous Black Mountain! Then heading to the beautiful town of Pomona for your chance to re-fuel before the home stretch begins back to the Event Village for a well-earned bite to eat or maybe a massage!
eBikes are permitted to ride in the 65km Rouleurs course. All eBikes must adhere to Australian eBike Standards. No modified e-bikes will be allowed to participate on course.
5. Beers and Buzz
The Event Village is always a vibe. Imagine yourself at the finish line, exhausted, hungry, ready for a beer. The sun is shining and you park your bike and see your friends, you walk over and grab something delicious to eat and a couple of ice-cold beers. 6. Good Old Country Hospitality
The good old-fashioned country hospitality is still thick within the Hinterland and boasts some beautiful towns that are filled with people and business owners who love getting involved with the event. The Noosa Classic proudly supports the local businesses in the Noosa region. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses are doing it tough and we’re so happy this event can go ahead.
