The Snowy Classic is less than 5 months away and we’re all looking forward to starting the year off right on March 26! With an average temperature between 17-20 degrees during March, the region offers sensational outdoor activities. These activities won’t leave you over-heated and exhausted during the day, so you can enjoy the cozy nightlife of the area.
The Snowy Mountains region relies heavily on the tourism the ski season brings. The region was hit pretty hard this year as most of NSW was locked down to a 5km radius and the Snowy Classic team is excited to bring our riders to inject some much-needed tourism into the area. We’ve put together this helpful little article to assist you in planning your Snowy Classic getaway.
The Snowy Mountains Visitor Centre
First up, the Snowy Mountains Visitor Centre should be your first stop after you check in to your hotel. The Visitor Centre in Jindabyne is located in the centre of town and has the most up to date information. If you’re thinking about visiting the Kosciuszko National Park, we highly recommend dropping in for a chat with one of the helpful staff members who can point you in all the right directions!
The Banjo Patterson Inn
This local icon is the first pub you’ll see on your left when entering Jindabyne. You can stop in for a quick beer, enjoy a delicious meal or book your stay for your Snowy Classic getaway. The Banjo Paterson Inn is also home to the famous Kosciuszko Pale Ale! So stop in on your way and take home a piece of Snowy Mountains magic.
The Snowy Classic Event Village will be located opposite the Banjo Patterson inn, so there’s no excuse not to pop in the inn!
