By 16 November 2022Snowy News 2023

We’re kicking off the 2023 Classics calendar with the Snowy Classic and here’s why you should join us in Jindabyne this April 1st.

1.Fully Closed Roads: A spectacular event course on fully closed roads! Ask anyone who rode Jindabyne’s inaugural Snowy Classic and they’ll tell you. It felt so good to enjoy the freedom this unique cycling experience and alpine region has to offer.

2. The Stunning Snowy Scenery: Australia’s high country inspires discovery all year round. Explore the undulating mountains and quaint towns of the Snowy region, and pass through the picturesque villages of Berridale, Dalgety and Jindabyne. Off course, tour all that Snowy has to offer – from Lake Jindabyne to the local distilleries and micro-breweries, to the breathtaking views and great alpine hikes!

3. On Course Support: From professional mechanics to rest stops featuring the best hydration & nutrition, plus first-aid officers and event timing, the Snowy Classic has it all covered. The only thing you need to worry about is getting over Beloka or nailing that KOM/QOM!

4. The Challenge: Whether you’re taking on the 170KM Maxi or 110KM Challenge Classic, one thing is guaranteed … you’ll be climbing! Whichever course you decide, the sense of achievement felt during, upon completion and well after the Snowy Classic will have you in great shape to power through 2023.

5. Health & Bike Fitness: Plan and lock in that 2023 New Year’s resolution…NOW. Cycling is a proven way to improve general fitness and most importantly, the health of your heart and cardiovascular system. And the Snowy Classic provides the perfect opportunity to get some epic climbing and solid kilometres into the legs. Yes it will be tough, but you’ll never look back.
