CoLab Coaching provides custom training plans and coaching for competitive and fitness cyclists. So whether you’re tackling the 110km Challenge Classic or taking on the 140km Maxi Classic beast, there’s a tailored training plan for you…and the best part is, it’s FREE!
Your training plan is divided into 4 âBlocksâ of 4 weeks. Typically each block consists of 3 âBuild Weeksâ followed by a âRecovery Weekâ. This is a very tried and tested pattern where each Build Week is a little harder than the last. The increase in difficulty is achieved by adding more time or making your intervals harder or longer. Itâs expected that you will feel tired at times and rest days are built into your plan. The aim is to extend yourself, not break yourself. You should never feel exhausted and donât be afraid to rest when you need to!
Starting 16 weeks out means there is no need to rush, and it allows adequate recovery. However, the plan is a great guide and can be picked up closer to event day. To claim your free plan, click here.
