Beer With Altitude The perfect way to celebrate a HUGE day of climbing this Snowy Classic. Find Kosciuszko Brewing Company at this year’s Event Village and cheers an epic day in the saddle with like-minded mate
Gateway to the Snowy Mountains, Jindabyne is the perfect place to stay and centre to the region’s diverse cycling options. You could just about spin a compass needle when deciding upon that day’s destination. There are several world-class road cycling options – the climbs to Thredbo and Perisher / Charlotte Pass being standouts, but also some seriously phenomenal gravel and MTB riding. We’re ecstatic to be returning to the region for another Snowy Classic Event.
Off-bike highlights included meals at many of the region’s great restaurants, an afternoon on the deck at Banjos is absolute must – it’s an iconic Aussie pub, with great food, sensational views over the lake, and the brilliant local ‘Kosciuszko Pale Ale’ brew. The Koscius
zko brewhouse at The Banjo Paterson Inn, boasts a copper-clad mash tun, lauter and brew kettle and is located in public view at the front of the hotel, adjacent to the hotel’s entrance – you can’t miss it. Brewed for enjoyment after a hard day of cycling, skiing, fishing or just relaxing in the mountains, it’s an ale that is always in season. Be sure to stop by for a tipple over event weekend.
