12 Week Training Plan, Lets Ride!

Preparation is key.. and we’ve got just the thing to help you start strong and finish stronger this October. We’ve teamed up with cycling experts at CoLab Coaching to deliver a free 12-week training plan, tailored specifically for Bowral Classic riders. From structured workouts to endurance-building rides and expert tips, the plan is designed to help you roll into Bong Bong Street with confidence… and a seriously solid set of legs.

The Bowral Classic isn’t just about event day. It’s about the build-up. The early alarms, the quiet solo spins, the group rides that test your limits, and the satisfaction of seeing your progress stack up week after week.  Geoff from Colab has provided the goods to kick start your 2025 Bowral Classic journey, and it all starts Monday 28th July.

Rouleurs Riders — Here’s a Sneak Peek at Week 1

If you’re taking on the 85km Rouleurs Classic, here’s a taste of what your first week of training looks like:

Monday: Rest (YES, its part of the plan!)
Tuesday: Short, hard efforts – great for building punch and power.
Wednesday: 60+ minutes of continuous, steady riding.
Thursday: Back to those hard efforts.
Friday: Enjoy a VERY EASY coffee ride. Maybe even some Yoga, or extra sleep?!
Saturday: Brisk Brunch ride – grab your mates for a fast but controlled group ride.
Sunday: The key to today is time, not speed. 60+ minutes at a steady, chatty pace. The majority of this ride should be easy.
