‘You Choose, You Decide’: Cerebral Palsy Alliance

By 23 March 20162016 News

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance is an Australian initiative that started as a humble family based organisation established almost 70 years ago and has grown into one of the most renowned Cerebral Palsy research facilities in the world. The organisation also provides a range of services to support people living with a broad range of disabilities and their families.

With the Bowral Classic’s unique fundraising scheme called, “You Choose, You Decide” we aim to support charities and organisations just like this one because we recognise the immense impact that passionate cyclists, their friends and their families can have by raising funds for a charity they select themselves.

The work that the Cerebral Palsy Alliance does for the community touches so many people’s hearts and we can give those people an opportunity to support the organisation that supports those in need.

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance embeds their values of integrity, passion, excellence, courage and respect into their practices and offers a wide range of services to the community.

As experts in the disease the CPA collaborates with their clients on a number of levels to create personalised plans to help them achieve a vast array of goals, the CPA was also the first in the world to launch their Research Foundation for the intervention, prevention and cure of cerebral palsy lead by professional researchers that solely focus on the research of cerebral palsy.

As a group of expert researchers the organisation has developed an international reputation and are proud to say that collaboratively with their overseas partners, have discovered 58% of the most effective cerebral palsy treatments in the past 10 years.

With the advances in modern-day technology researchers are able to further understand and treat the disorder, but vital funding is needed to support the work they do.

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance works tirelessly to promote their plight and holds numerous events to raise funds for their foundation, and with your help they can obtain access to information and aid for suffers of the disorder and their families.

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance is a proud supporter of the Bowral Classic.
