By 7 August 20192019 News

Sunday 20 October will see the fourth edition of the Bowral Classic Gran Fondo cycling event roll into the Southern Highlands.

It’s a region famed for its lush landscape and historic townships and the various courses will allow riders to explore far more than just Bowral.

The 175km Maxi, the 120km Challenge and the 90km Rouleurs will take riders through the beautiful Bowral, Berrima, Exeter, Robertson and Kangaloon while 35km Social participants will get a more leisurely look at some of these locations.

While each course features something different all riders will get the opportunity to finish their respective loops in style.

Eridge Park, the site of the finish line, features a velodrome where all participants will undertake a victory lap before grabbing a well-deserved drink in the nearby Event Village.

The event village will be open from 1pm-4pm on Saturday 19 October for some riders to collect their registration kits. Limited stalls will be open on the Saturday. The full event village will be open Sunday 20 October from 10am-4pm and will include live music, a bar, children’s activities, cycling exhibitors and more.

Stay tuned for some in-depth previews of each Classic ride!
