It is with enormous regret and incredible sadness we announce the 2020 Mudgee Classic has been postponed to 2 May, 2021.
This is due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic and is in line with Federal & State government guidelines for the virus. Events attracting 500 or more people are banned until 14 June under a NSW Health department order.
The 2021 Mudgee Classic will be held on Sunday 2 May and your registration will automatically transfer to this new date. Mudgee Region Tourism have pledged to do all they can to assist with the seamless transition of this exciting debut event given the unprecedented global developments.
If you would rather receive a refund, please complete the Online Refund Form by 11:59pm, 05/04/2020.
We have put together a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) sheet to hopefully answer all other queries. Please CLICK HERE to view FAQs.
Cara George, CEO of Mudgee Region Tourism said the organisation were saddened to see the inaugural Mudgee Classic cancelled for 2020.
“We were buoyed by the energy, interest and sheer volume of registrations in the event’s first year,” she said.
“The doors to our vibrant yet intimate setting are still open, and we invite those already booked to keep us in their travel plans. There is still so much to love about our contemporary country destination, infused with art and music and famous for its award-winning wine and local produce.
“If we don’t see you in 2020, we look forward to hosting you at the 2021 Mudgee Classic.”
All here at Bicycling Australia and the Classics events share Cara’s sentiments and can’t thank you enough for your continued support and understanding. It is our heartfelt wish that you, your family and friends remain healthy, happy and well through this crisis.
