Time spent in the Mudgee region wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the super-impressive Pieter van Gent Winery & Vineyard.
Located at 141 Black Springs Road, which is off Ulan Rd, the vineyard covers more than 100 acres and the cellar door is one of the region’s must-see destinations.
On site you can visit the authentic barrel hall and taste a variety of wines including the famous and original Mudgee White Port.
It’s over 40 years since Pieter made the first Chardonnay wine in Australia and you can learn more on site and read about the historic accomplishment in the ’About Us’ Section of the PVG website.
Self-contained Accommodation is also available and can be booked via phoning (02) 6373 3030
