You asked and we heard you… “More gravel, more gravel, more gravel!”
The 2026 Dirty Mudgee routes are revealed and they’re bigger, dustier and tougher than ever. This year we kick off from Cooyal Hall, setting the scene for two epic courses that take riders through the rugged beauty, rolling farmland and gritty backroads that make Mudgee one of NSW’s most underrated gravel playgrounds.

Introducing the 90km Grit Classic
If you want the full Mudgee gravel experience in one day, this is it. The 90km Grit Classic was designed for intermediate to advanced riders who want a full-body, full-scenery, full-grit adventure. We’re talking long stretches of gravel, steady, morale-testing climbs, proper backroads that feel worlds away from the city, and endless views across Mudgee’s rolling countryside.
The 55km Dash Classic
Don’t let the distance fool you. The 55km Dash is every bit as rewarding as its big sibling. You’ll roll out on the same opening 30km as the 90km route before turning off onto true farmland tracks: rugged surfaces, raw terrain, and uninterrupted gravel that feels wild, remote and uniquely Mudgee.
Both courses take you deeper into the region’s backroads, farmland, ridgelines and valleys, creating a gravel experience that’s authentic, rewarding and seriously fun.
Both new. Both dusty. Both brilliant.
Early Bird registrations for the 2026 Mudgee Classic weekend are now open, and you can save 20% on your 2026 Dirty Mudgee ride when combined with one of Sunday’s Gran Fondo road rides.
Plan the getaway. Rally your mates. And choose your flavour of gravel and road greatness.
