About the Mudgee Classic
The Mudgee Classic is a cycling event that takes place in the beautiful wine region of Mid-West NSW. The event consists of the Dirty Mudgee Gravel Ride on Saturday, 3 May and the Road Cycling courses on Sunday, 4 May 2025.
The Dirty Mudgee 55km gravel course showcases Mudgee’s spectacular rural scenery, the region’s impressive vineyards and iconic Australian country landscape.
The Road Cycling courses incorporate four routes, passing through Mudgee to Eurunderee, Gulgong, Ulan and more.
The centre of activity will be the Mudgee Classic Event Village at Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex, Mudgee. Please come along and cheer the riders as they cross the Finish Line.
The Event Village will be open from 10:00am-4:00pm on Saturday, 3 May and Sunday, 4 May. There will be live music, market stalls, children’s activities, cycling exhibitors and more.
Riders from all over Australia register for the Mudgee Classic. Many will be staying in Mudgee over the weekend boosting tourism and bringing considerable economic benefits to the local region.

When is it?
The Mudgee Classic is on Saturday 3 May & Sunday 4 May 2025.
The 2025 Mudgee Classic will feature the Dirty Mudgee – a gravel fondo featuring 55 kilometres of the Mudgee region’s best all-road cycling on Saturday, 3 May. Dirty Mudgee riders will depart from Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex at 11:30am.
On Sunday, 4 May the Road Cycling event includes four courses- the 170KM Maxi Classic, 120KM Challenge Classic, 65km Rouleurs Classic and the 35km Social Classic.
These rides start on Church St, Mudgee (outside St Marys Catholic Church) between 7:00am and 8:30am.
The first Road Cycling riders will return to Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex, Mudgee at 10am. The last riders are expected to cross the Finish Line around 4.00pm.

Parking spots are available at these areas:
GLEN WILLOW REGIONAL SPORTS COMPLEX
Ulan Rd & Pitts Lane, Mudgee NSW 2850
This is the recommended parking spot as there is
a cycle path direct to the Gran Fondo Start Line on Church St.
Distance to the Start Line is 1.5km.
Parking at Glen Willow is open from 4:00am – 5:00pm
on Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 April. Gates will be locked at dusk.
No parking along Pitts Lane within Glen Willow.
ADDITIONAL PARKING
Mudgee Council Carpark – 51 Short St, Mudgee
Byron Place – off Perry St, Mudgee
Both parking spots are 500m from the Gran Fondo
Start Line and 1.5km from the Event Village at Glen Willow.
These sites are expected to fill fast so please be
aware you may need to park elsewhere.
