170km Maxi Classic: Course Overview
Starting on one of regional Australia’s most iconic main streets, riders will roll out and pass through the first of the Mudgee vineyards, home of many of Australia’s best wines.
This course will continue through the vineyards before heading towards Ulan.
After this you will roll your way into the historic town of Gulgong that is steeped in gold mining history.
With the Maxi course you will get to test yourself and ride as hard as you can for a second time, on the way back to Ulan for the Ulan>Gulgong Lap.
When you are back in Gulgong you will get a chance to refuel before making the trek back towards Mudgee and the final kicker QOM/KOM on Lowes Peak Rd. It packs a punch but the reward at the top is a great view to Mudgee and beyond!
Then the final stretch of the course that has you riding through the vineyards again back to the Event Village where you can enjoy a bite to eat and a cold beverage to quench the thirst you have amassed!
